Rang Barse at Country Club India

The color of the Indian festivities is aptly summed up in the beautiful festival called “Holi”. According to the mythology of the Indian beliefs, in memory of the miraculous escape that young Prahlad accomplished when Demoness Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu, carried him into the fire. Holika was burnt but Prahlad, a staunch devotee of god Vishnu, escaped without any injuries due to his unshakable devotion. This success of Prahlad is celebrated all over India with colors and family get-togethers. The colors are mixed with water and some times used as dry powder and are splashed on each other. As it’s a grand occasion in country club India every Holi day, this year it was a great grand celebration that drenched every member with fun and colorful memories. As all the members and their families participated in the fun with the colors in the morning, the evening was enjoyed with traditional and festivity dinner.
